KFPS app for iPhone and iPad

Parents are not the only ones affected by divorce. For children ages 4-10, divorce can be a terrifying and life altering event. The ability of the children to cope with life during and after divorce depends on how what resources we put in front of these kids as well as how their parents can peacefully get along.
Our KFPS app offers education, resources and coping skills for children of divorce between 4 to 10 years of age. For children age 4-5 we have badges and help sheets that the children work on to take their path to courage. For children 6-8 we have discussions on how to deal with powerful emotions of anger and sadness. Kid s6-8 learn to make lemonade out of lemons and how to dance in the rain. For kids 8-10 our app provides stories that we hope will lead to much discussion in the family.
All children are encouraged to make memory boxes to remember the good times they had with mom and dad after divorce. All children are encouraged to write messages about how they feel and have their parents launch them in a balloon. These projects have worked for years for kids who have lost grandparents, family or friends, we simply are applied the concept to help children of divorce.
